మంచి సాహిత్యాన్ని ప్రోత్సహించడానికి ఎవరైతేనేమి? ప్రవాసంలోని తెలుగువారు ఇక్కడ ఆపదలో ఉన్నవారిని ఆదుకోవడంలేదా. అమెరికాలోని తెలుగువారు అంటరానివారా?
ఇక కథల పోటీలు, బహుమతుల విషయానికి వస్తే ప్రోత్సాహం వేరు పోటీ వేరు. కథ, నవల పోటీలు హానికరం. బహుమతులకు ఆశపడకుండా రచయితలు ఇటువంటి సాహిత్య పోటీలకు దూరంగా ఉండటం మంచిది. కొత్తవారికి అవకాశం ఇచ్చినట్లుకూడా ఉంటుంది.
